RSA was established in 2009 by Richard Stampton.
RSA provides high quality bespoke architectural design services. We accept only a limited number of commissions at one time, enabling a high degree of client contact and engagement to satisfy each client’s individual requirements.
Our approach is to focus on strong, simple and bold architectural solutions that take advantage of existing site opportunities and natural light. We believe that the quality of space is not determined by budget alone and that each space, no matter how small, can be made special and beautiful.
Prior to establishing RSA, Richard worked as an architect with Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Paris, France and as a project manager with Bovis Lend Lease in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Richard also worked with Melbourne architects Edmond & Corrigan Architecture and Urban Design, Keith Streames & Associates and Shane Murray Architecture & Urban Design.
Richard was educated at R.M.I.T. University, School of Architecture, Melbourne, Australia and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Architecture School, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Richard also studied law at the University of Melbourne and practiced as a lawyer at Arnold Bloch Leibler in Melbourne.
Richard teaches architectural design and history part-time at R.M.I.T. University’s School of Architecture.
